Cindy Backel, the founder of Celebrations by Cindy, developed a passion for events from a young age. Her journey began in high school, she centered her senior project around wedding planning. Cindy's destiny in the business became evident as she shadowed a local wedding planner. Armed with a degree in Resort & Hospitality Management from Florida Gulf Coast University, she has dedicated 10 years to the industry, gaining diverse perspectives by playing roles such as Event Coordinator, Bride, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid, Guest, Venue and Catering Staff, Bartender, and Master of Ceremony (MC).
A true jack of all trades, Cindy's goal is to create a flawless experience for couples, ensuring they savor the happiest day of their lives without a worry. She doesn't just serve as a wedding planner but considers herself a friend to all her clients.
